Now my question Jan. AV (Jimbos favourite human), has a record of showing favourites & screwing up team selections. Will/can the same be said about the D Corp currently patrolling the ice? Will a good playing Holden be relegated because, well, he's Holden? Will Smith get shafted even if he plays well as you have said (& what's going on being out of shape for the start of the season? Seriously??)?

Lastly, do you guys long for that lost Dan Girardi blocked shot, again, & again, & again, & again.............

The first questions, I can’t answer. Yes, he likes vegetables but I think Smith gets a decent sized leash to show he belongs. On the second, New York blocked I believe 27 shots the other night without really focusing on doing so, I think they are fine without him.

As Brooks put in his latest article as well as Jan, this league kinda sucks Tampa would be the only team that could run NYR totally out of the building but they also havent had their yearly Stamkos injury yet

all depends on Chytil. If he keeps adapting to the NA game and putting up a PPG down in Hartford thats a lot less to have to trade for later on in the year same with Lettieri. But like you say they dint plan on having 11 mil in cap space at the deadline for nothing

The way it is now, I'm going to say stand pat unless there is a deal that comes up where they get blown away. Other than that, save the picks, look for Chytil and Andersson to make the team next year.

Would like to see Chytil back up and DD sit, but thats an argument for another day.

Chytil missed 4 games and only just starting playing again, I think chances are pretty strong it's happening sooner or later

I'd like to see DD get moved if a more viable back up becomes available. If the D continues to round into form and Chytil continues to adapt and improve, that is about the only area left to address.

That would be nice. Would love to have two centers who are very good offensively.

Not that Hayes isn't, but AV has set that line up to shut down the other teams best line. If Nash could score more, Hayes would have an additional 7-10 assists.

Yeah. I mean Boo is a perfect 4th line center right now. Carey could sit and be the extra forward. DD is really out of place. To small to be on a checking line, and not good enough to be on a top line.

You just blame everyone but Hayes for his lack of production.

Actually, even strength, not only does the Hayes line have to shut down the others team best line, but Hayes Zuke and Nash are right up there in scoring. Only Zib, Miller and Grabs have more points even strength. And its only by 1 or 2 points.
